Monica V. Weedman, M.A.

As a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychology & Neuroscience at Baylor University, I am currently conducting research under the guidance of Dr. Jo-Ann Tsang. My work centers around the study of prejudice, with a particular interest in exploring how members of privileged groups grapple with the role of their advantage in perpetuating inequality. Additionally, my research interests encompass areas such as political psychology, psychology of religion, and social decision-making.

Prior to my time at Baylor University, I received my B.S. in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin where I was a member of the Self-Regulation Lab as a research assistant under the mentorship of Dr. Jennifer Beer.
